SARY HAVE A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN CHECK AND/OR REPLACE THE WALL OUTLET. DO NOT USE THIS HEAT ER WITH ANY SOL ID
STATE SPEED CONTROL DEVICES.
• Make certain that the power source con forms to the elec tri cal re quire ments of the Heater.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any Heat er is used by or near chil dren or in va lids. The Heat er should not be left op er at ing un at tend ed.
Never leave children unattended when the heater is on or plugged in.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is in tend ed to fit in a
po lar ized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the out let, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qual i fied electrician.
Do not at tempt to defeat this safety feature.
• DO NOT use the Heater in areas where gasoline, paint, or flam ma ble liquids are used or stored. DO NOT use Heater in lo ca tions where
flammable or explosive chemicals are stored, or in wet at mo spheres.
• Do not operate any Heater with a dam aged cord or plug or after the Heater malfunctions, or has been dropped or dam aged in any man ner.
To disconnect Heater, turn the Heater OFF then remove the plug from the outlet.
• Always unplug Heater when not in use. Unplug pow er cord be fore servicing or moving the Heater.
• Do not insert or allow fingers or foreign ob jects to enter any ven ti la tion or exhaust opening as it may cause an elec tric shock, fire, or damage
the Heat er. Do not block or tamper with the Heat er in any man ner while it is in op er a tion.
• Do not block air intakes or ex haust in any manner. Do not place on soft sur fac es, like a bed, where open ings may be come blocked. Do not
depend on the on/off switch as the sole means of disconnecting power when servicing or moving the heater. Always unplug the power cord.

• Always place the Heater on a stable, flat, level sur face when op er at ing, to avoid the chance of the Heater over turn ing. Lo cate the Power Cord so the
Heater or oth er ob jects are not rest ing on it. DO NOT run Power Cord un der car pet ing. DO NOT cover Power Cord with throw rugs, run ners, or similar
coverings as this may cause cord to overheat. Ar range Power Cord away from room traf fic and where it will not be tripped over.
• This Heater is HOT when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot sur fac es. Always use han dle when moving this Heater. Keep com bus ti ble
materials, such as fur ni ture, pillows, bed ding, pa pers, clothes and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the Heater and keep them at least 1
foot (0.3 m) from the sides and rear.
• This Heater is not intended for use in wet or damp lo ca tions. This Heater is not intended for use in bath rooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations.

FUNCIONAMIENTO (

1. Cuidadosamente retire el Calefactor de la bolsa y de la caja.
2. Coloque el Calefactor sobre una superficie firme y plana.
Los
tacos de plástico o hule, tales como las patas de esta unidad,
pueden pegarse a la superficie de los muebles y/o a los pisos de
madera. La unidad podría dejar un residuo capaz de oscurecer,
manchar o dejar marcas permanentes en el acabado de ciertas
superficies de muebles, incluyendo superficies de madera y/o
pisos de madera.
3. Conecte el cable a un tomacorriente de 120 voltios.
Asegúrese que el enchufe encaje
firmemente en el tomacorriente.
Cuando los enchufes quedan flojos dentro de
los tomacorrientes, podrían deslizarse parcial o
completamente fuera del tomacorriente con el menor
movimiento del cable adosado. Los tomacorrientes en
este estado podrían sobrecalentarse y representar un
peligro de incendio grave; si queda cubierto por una
cortina o tela, el peligro de incendio es todavía mayor.
4.
Cuando el Calefactor se conecte por primera vez, la
Luz de
Encendido
se encenderá indicando que hay electricidad en la
unidad. La
Luz de Encendido
permanecerá encendida hasta que
el Calefactor sea desconectado del tomacorriente eléctrico.
5.
ENCIENDA el Calefactor oprimiendo el
Botón de Encendido
.
6.
Cuando se lo encienda por primera vez
, el Calefactor estará en
calor
Alto
(1500 vatios) en
Máx
. (La luz Alta estará encendida
permanentemente y la luz de Máximo estará titilando).
7.
Oprima el botón ( ) para calor BAJO.
8. Oprimir el
Botón de Encendido
por segundo vez APAGARÁ
el Calefactor.
9. Cuando el Calefactor está APAGADO, la luz roja en la parte frontal
del Calefactor permanecerá encendida hasta que el Calefactor
sea desconectado del tomacorriente eléctrico.
FUNCIÓN DE OSCILACIÓN
Oprimir el
Botón de Oscilación
(
OSC
) le permitirá al Calefactor
oscilar hacia atrás y hacia delante. Para detener la oscilación, vuelva
a oprimir el
Botón de Oscilación
(
OSC
). Cuando el calefactor esté
en control automático de temperatura, la función de oscilación
se detendrá cuando se alcance la temperatura fijada y reiniciará
cuando el calefactor vuelva a encenderse.
FUNCIÓN DE TEMPERATURA
La función de temperatura automática sólo operará en calefacción
“Alta”. No puede fijar la temperatura automáticamente cuando la
unidad se encuentre en la modalidad de calefacción baja.
Para fijar una temperatura específica en la habitación, presione
el botón de temperatura
( )
hasta la configuración deseada. La
luz de la temperatura escogida continuará titilando hasta que la
habitación alcance la temperatura deseada. El Calefactor realizará
el ciclo de apagado y encendido para mantener la temperatura
de la habitación. Cuando se fija en MAX (Máximo), el Calefactor
operará continuamente.
CONTROL REMOTO
(Figura 2)
1. Instale dos baterías “AAA” (no suministró).
2.
No mezcle baterías viejas y nuevas. No mezcle baterías alcalinas, estándar
(carbono-cinc), recargables (níquel-cadmio) o de iones de litio.
3. NO SE DESHÁGA DE BATERÍAS EN EL FUEGO. BATERÍAS PUEDEN
ESTALLAR O PUEDEN SALIRSE.
4. Oprima el botón de encendido del control remoto para encender y
apagar el calentador.
5. Oprima el botón "alto" para poner el calentador a temperatura alta.
6. Oprima el botón "bajo" para poner el calentador a temperatura baja.
7. El botón de oscilación en el control remoto funciona idénticamente al
botón de oscilación en el calentador.
8. Oprima el signo de más o menos en el botón del control remoto de la
temperatura ( ) para seleccionar la temperatura deseada.
