At the end of its daily use, clean the tank as follows:
Model with gravity drain system :
- Open the door and remove the overflow.
- Clean the tank with a jet of water, draining any residue through the drain hole.
- Reassemble the elements and, if possible, leave the door open until you need to use the
appliance again.
Model with drain pump:
- Open the door and remove the overflow.
- push button C for three sec. (with the door opened).
- Clean the tank with a jet of water and the filters with a brush, draining any residue through
the drain hole.
- Repeat the automatic drain operation to drain remaining residues.
- Reassemble the elements and, if possible, leave the door open until you need to use the
appliance again.
ORDINARY MAINTENACE
Every 2-3 days disassemble and carefully clean manifolds, washing arms and nozzles. If
any nozzle is obstructed, disassemble it wth a screwdriver to remove the obstruction.
Cleaning operations should be carried out with clean water and a non-abrasive brush or
compressed air jets. Do not use pins or unsuitable objects.
- In presence of a whitish patina in the tank, due to the natural presence of mineral salts in
the water, descale it regularly with suitable products.
- The regeneration cycle of models with water softener should be carried out as follows.

EGENERATION CYCLE FOR MODELS WITH WATER SOFTENER
The following procedure describes the regeneration process of the decalcifying resins
contained in the water softener, which has to be performed at regular intervals, depending
on water hardness and the number of washing cycles (see following table).
- Drain the tank. Do not insert the overflow after this operation.
- Open the salt reservoir by unscrewing its cap and fill it with water conditioner salt or com-
mon coarse salt up to 2-3 cm from the upper border (if the reservoir is not filled with water,
fill it before pouring the salt). Then, pour 2 Kg of salt every 10-12 regeneration cycles.
- Clean the reservoir thread of any salt residue before screwing its cap. Remove any salt
residue spilt into the tank.
- Close the door and press (D) button for 3 sec.
- After 20 minutes, the lamp switches off, which indicates the end of the regeneration cycle.
- the appliance is now ready to start a normal washing operation.
