INSTALLATION
Install the ultrasound marten repellent device in such a way that the sound is able to spread
freely, similar to the light cone of a torch. Select a position that is as high up as possible in
the engine compartment to prevent the risk of influence from dirt and water. Ensure a good
distance is left between the device and heat sources such as the exhaust, catalytic converter
and rotating parts. Ensure good accessibility for when the batteries need to be changed. In
very tight engine compartments, it may be necessary to install multiple martin repellent
devices since the ultrasound can be shielded considerably by obstacles.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Check regularly to make sure that the red LED is flashing. If not, replace the batteries. Otherwise, the ultrasound device is maintenance-free if used in accor-
dance with the intended purpose.
NOTES REGARDING ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Do not dispose of electrical devices with the household waste! Electrical and electronic scrap must be collected separately and disposed of in an
environmentally responsible manner for recycling. Please contact your community or city administration regarding disposal options for electrical
and electronic scrap.
At the end of their lifetime, used batteries and battery packs are not to be disposed of in the household waste - or negligently in the environ-
ment. Hand in used device batteries/battery packs to the collection points at the store (dealer). This makes a considerable contribution towards
protecting our environment. Some communities may also collect used batteries/battery packs via mobile stations or recycling centres.
