185 Watt Hazardous Location LED Light - Magnetic
Mount - C1D2 - ATEX - 100 foot Cord w/ EXP Plug
Instruction
Manual
This explosion proof light is designed for illumination of industrial locations. It uses the latest in solid state
lighting technology for long life, low maintenance and high efficiency.
The unique design focuses the light where it is needed, giving improved efficiency over a conventional
HID luminaire.
An internal, universal input, power-factor-corrected switch-mode supply allows it to be used from any
nominal
90-305V AC, 50/60Hz
supply without any variation in light output.
WARNING
To avoid the risk of fire, explosion or electric shock, this product should be installed, inspected and
maintained by a qualified electrician only, in accordance with all applicable electrical codes.
To avoid electric shock:
Be certain electrical power is OFF before and during installation and maintenance.
Luminaire must be connected to a wiring system with an equipment-grounding conductor.
To avoid explosion:
Make sure the supply voltage is within the luminair
es’ voltage rating.
Ensure the marked T rating is less than the ignition temperature of the Hazardous
Atmosphere.
Do not operate in ambient temperatures above those indicated on the luminaire nameplate.
Do not operate if the lens is cracked or damaged. All fasteners should be properly seated.
MOUNTING
This explosion proof LED light fixture is comprised of a 16x14 inch LED light head mounted atop a legged
base stand fabricated from non sparking aluminum, with a separate shelf type magnetic mounting
bracket that allows mounting to ferrous metallic surfaces. The lamp can be easily adjusted up or
down 90 degrees and locked into position by simply loosening the two T-handle adjustment screws
located on either side of the light head and retightening them once the desired angle is found.
The
magnetic mounting bracket for this unit includes six 200 lbs. grip magnetic bases which provide a total of
1,200 lbs. of grip and allows operators to mount the unit to walls and flat metallic surfaces. Users simply
attach the magnetic mounting bracket to the desired surface, then hang the lamp assembly from the
bracket.
WARNING:
If there is moisture present, or chance of it, in the conduit system then necessary
precautions should be taken by the installer to prevent the moisture from entering thr
ough
the
cable or
conduit and entering the fixture. Failure to comply with the above could void the warranty.
