CHARGING
Never charge the flashlight in a hazardous environment where explosive gas, fumes or dust particles
are present.
1.
The battery and flashlight body are keyed to prevent improper installation.
2.
Remove the tail-cap and shake out the RED battery.
3.
A new flashlight is shipped with the battery correctly keyed but in the reverse direction to
prevent accidental turn-on during shipping.
4.
Turn the battery around and align the arrow on the battery with the notch in the flashlight body.
5.
Slide the battery into the flashlight and replace the tail-cap.
6.
Connect the charging platform to the AC charger per the instructions below.
7.
Align the floodlight to face toward the front of the charging platform. Slide the flashlight into the
charging platform until a click is heard.
8.
Fully charge the trouble light before the first use. If the battery is new or has been unused for
several months, several charge and discharge cycles may be needed to reach full battery
capacity. To reach maximum performance, run the light to completely discharge the battery and
then recharge. Each charge cycle will extend the operation time until maximum capacity is
achieved. The charge time for maximum capacity is approximately 6 hours.
Use only the supplied charging platform and AC or DC adapter.
The maximum allowable DC input is 15 VDC.
For best performance, charge the trouble light when the LED’s start to dim.
Connect the AC power adapter to the charging platform. The green indicator will light.
Align the floodlight to face toward the front of the charging platform. Slide the flashlight into the
charging platform until a click is heard.
The red light on the charging platform indicates the battery is properly inserted into the
charging platform and charging. The light remains red until the battery is fully charged. At full
charge, the light turns green. The total time to full charge varies depending on the remaining
charge in the battery pack.
The charging platform provides a trickle charge to a fully charged battery pack.
