Description
The
EPIC
®
CIRCON
Crimp tool consists of: one flexible handhold with a ratchet and guidance for
restricted opening, as well as a fixed handhold with a metric scale (division of 2/10 mm), adjusting
equipment with a hand wheel (division of 1/100 mm) and the 4 crimp mandrels.
The EPIC
®
CIRCON locator consists of:
a freely rotating locator with a snap-in-function for positioning (division into 12 steps) the contacts
and an additional locator for crimping the female pins of 2 mm.
Maintenance and inspection
After usage of the
EPIC SOLAR
Crimp tool the following steps have to be carried out: Remove dust,
moisture and other contaminants from the
EPIC SOLAR
Crimp tool with a clean and soft brush, or a
clean and soft lint-free cloth. Do not use hard or abrasive objects that could damage the tool.
All pins, pivot points, and bearing surfaces should be protected with a thin coat of any good sewing
machine oil. Do not oil excessively. Take care that every bolts are secured with locking rings.
For protection against an electric shock, all connections have to be
disconnected from power supply when assembling the connector by yourself.
