DIP Switch Settings

The top panel 5-position DIP switch is labeled SW and is located directly below the terminal

block connector. The default setting for all is Off .

setting the DIP switch to ON

Enable Jumbo frame support.

The feature becomes active immediately after

setting the DIP switch to ON

Disable Jumbo frame support.

Select PoE PoH Mode.

Set the DIP switch to ON before powering up the

switch.

Off

Select PoE 802.3bt Mode.

Enable PoE Power Cutoff when no SFP

link.

PSE LPT (Link Pass Thru) On/Off. The feature

becomes active immediately after setting the DIP

switch to ON

Off

Disable PoE Power Cutoff.

Descriptions of Features Set via DIP Switch

The top panel DIP switch is used to enable/disable Power alarm, broadcast storm limit, Jumbo Frame support,

PoH Mode/802.3bt mode, and PSE Link Pass Through mode as described below.

1. Power Alarm

This setting lets you enable or disable the power alarm. See “Alarm Relay Connection” below.

2. Broadcast Storm Rate Limit

This setting lets you enable or disable the rate limiting of broadcast storms. When enabled, the broadcast storm

limit is 10 Mbps line rate.

3. Jumbo Frame Support

This setting lets you enable or disable the support of jumbo frames of 1519~9216 bytes.
