SNMP

Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is a set of protocols for managing complex

networks. The Management Information Base (MIB) defines the set of manageable objects in the

device. The EMG unit supports both MIB-II (as defined by

RFC 1213

) and a private enterprise

MIB. The private enterprise MIB provides read-only access to all statistics and configurable items

provided by the EMG unit. It provides read-write access to a select set of functions for controlling

the EMG unit and device ports. See the MIB definition file for details. The EMG MIB definition file

and the top level MIB file for all Lantronix products are accessible from the SNMP web page.

To configure SNMP:
