Prepare the screws and locking washers as shown in

Proceed to screw the base to the back of the LP-289ai
as shown in figure 6:

If fixing the base to a wall, you can use the included
ramplugs and screws as shown in figure 7.

If fixing the base to a Mast, use the U clamps designed
for this purpose. Place the base on the mast, slide the
U clamps and screw the nuts and washers on each
screw end of the U clamp, proceed to fix all the nuts
with the proper tool in a symmetrical way as shown
in figure 8:

Proceed to fix the radio to the base, by fixing the arm
first with the screw, lock washer and nut as shown in
figure 9:
