Network Boot
Use the set command to configure a network boot.
msh> set parameter {on | off}
“On” means active and “Off” means inactive.
•
When you use RARP+TFTP, BOOTP, DHCP, the server also needs to be configured.
•
DHCP takes precedence over all other settings.

Protocol
Use the set command to allow/prevent remote access for each protocol.
msh> set protocol {up | down}
Notes:
•
If you prohibit remote access using TCP/IP and then logout, you cannot use remote
access. If this was a mistake, you can use the printer operation panel to allow access by
TCP/IP.
•
When you prevent access via TCP/IP, you are also prevented from using lpr, ftp, rsh,
diprint, and web.
