Center Roller Scrapers - Optional
NOTE
A scraper can be used as a guide to achieve the 1/4" gap.
1. With Rollers on level ground. Install center Scraper
Mounts to Center Frame Mounts with 1/2-13 x 1-3/4
Carriage Bolts and Flanged Locknuts. Do not tighten.
See Figure 2-23.
1. Center Scraper Tube on the Roller Assembly and
attach to the Center Scraper Mounts with 1/2-13
U-Bolts and Flange Locknuts.
2. Attach a Scrapers at each end and the center of the
Scraper Tube with 3/8-16 U-Bolts and Flange
Locknuts, adjust the scrapers so that they are
centered between the Notched Wheels along with a
1/4" gap between the Scraper and Notched Wheels.
Tighten all the Scraper Mount Hardware.
3. Install the rest of the Scrapers onto the Scraper Tube
with 3/8-16 U-Bolts and Flange Locknuts. The
Scrapers should be centered between the Notched
Wheels and have a 1/4" gap between the Scraper and
Notched Wheels.
