TABLE OF CONTENTS
Center Lift Assembly
IMPORTANT
Read all safety precautions at the front of the section
before attempting any of the following procedures.
WARNING
1. Remove any shank assemblies or extensions that
may have been turned around or mounted inside the
frame for shipping, and reposition,
See Figure 2-2
through See Figure 2-5 for shank placement.
2. Install a UHMW bearing between both lift bearing
mounts
around the center lift assembly See
Figure 3-2 .
3. Insert two UHMW bearings into each bearing
housing, and slide the housing and bearings over
each end of the center lift assembly. Install the
bearing housing assembly towards the center of the
machine, both ends.
4. Slide the 5-1/2 bearing housing spacer over each end
of the center lift assembly.
5. Insert a UHMW bearing into each bearing cap and
install the cap and bearing over the end of center lift
assembly.
NOTE
Be sure bushing is installed in both plates of the
center lift assembly.
6. Raise the center lift assembly into the center frame
and attach each end bearing cap to the center frame
with 5/8 x 4 bolts and 5/8 lock nuts
7. Install the two inner lift bearing mounts with 5/8 x 2
bolts and 5/8 lock nuts.
NOTE
Make sure the center lift will rotate freely in the center
frame after it is assembled.
8. Install the two 4x10 cylinders to the cylinder lift arm,
and the center lift assembly with pins provided with
cylinders. Install the cylinders with the rod end down,
and with rephasing cap to the top. Install the transport
locks in the storage locations on back of the lift
cylinder arms with L pins and 1/8 hairpins.
9. Install the depth control mount to the top of the center
lift assembly using 3/8 x 1-1/4 bolts and lock nuts.
Install on the inside of the lift assembly mount.
10. Attach the rear of the depth stop tube to the top hole
of the depth control mount using 5/8 x 2-1/2 bolt and
5/8 lock nut.
NOTE
Be sure 4, 1-1/2” flange bearings are installed in the
front and rear of leveler tube weldment.
11. Attach the leveler tube weldment under wing
stabilizer, on top of front fold cylinder mount as shown
See Figure 3-2 . Install rear of the leveler tube
weldment between plates of center lift assembly with
hitch pin, 1/2 x 2-1/4 pin and 5/8 lock nut.
12. Attach rear of lift arm weldment to top of cylinder arm
with 1 x 3-1/2 bolt and 1 lock nut, both sides.
13. Attach tire/wheel assemblies to all 8 bolt hub
assemblies with 5/8 lug nuts.
Do not attempt to lift heavy parts (such as the
frame and rock shaft) manually. Use a hoist or a
fork lift to move these parts into position.
