3-5 MAIN FRAME ROCKSHAFT
3-5.1 Lay rockshaft (See Figure 3-5) on frame
with wheel spindle holes in rockshaft lift arm
toward front of frame.
3-5.2 Lubricate inside of rockshaft bearings and
upper reinforcement bar surfaces.
Notes:
10’-10” frame requires four bearings: Two inner
and two outer.
9’-6” frame only requires two inner bearings.
3-5.3 Both Frames: Install rockshaft bearings
with a reinforcement bar under frame at each
bearing location.
10’-10” Frame: Also install one reinforcement
bar between rockshaft and frame at each
outer bearing location.
3-5.4 Attach all bearings and bars to frame with
3/4” x 8-1/2” cap screws, lock washers, nuts.
Note: Position grease fittings toward rear.
