General safety precautions
Intended use
The fire basket should only be used for burning wood.
The fire basket with fire bowl and cooking grill should
only be used for preparing food that is suitable for
barbecuing. all requirements of this manual must be
complied with.
Only for private use!
Safe operation of the fire basket
The fire basket should be heated up for approximately
30 minutes before it is used for the first time.
WARNING - risk of suffocation!
•
do not use in enclosed areas or under covered
surfaces.
DANGER to children, mentally or
physically handicapped persons, and pets!
•
never leave the hot fire basket unattended. Keep
children, mentally or physically handicapped
persons and pets at a safe distance.
WARNING - risk of burns!
•
To prevent the fire bowl from tipping over, it
must be placed on a stable and firm surface
during use.
•
do not move the fire basket during use as it may
topple over.
•
Wear barbecue mitts or use barbecue tongs
when barbecuing .
•
allow the fire basket to cool down completely
before cleaning it.
•
do not use spirits or petrol to ignite or re-ignite
the fire! If such fuel is used, it can result in
uncontrollable heat due to deflagration. Only
use approved lighting aids for barbecuing, such
as
LANDMANN
solid firelighters!
•
never use water to extinguish the charcoal or
wood.
