Installing the BX Two Lever Hitch
Adapter Option

To avoid serious injury or death: A crushing hazard exists
while hooking-up and unhooking the implement. Do not allow
anyone to stand between impelement and power machine
while approaching or backing away from the implement. Do
not operate lift and/or tilt controls while someone is near the
power machine and/or implement.
Land Pride’s
“BX to Two Lever Hitch Adapter Option”
is required when hooking the Snow Pusher to BX80
Series Kubota tractors using a two lever hitch. See your
nearest Land Pride dealer to order this option.

1.
Remove any preexisting hook-up hardware from the
Snow Pusher, such hitch pins, hair pin cotters, and/or
bolts and nuts. Safely store items for future use.
2.
Prepare to install both bolt-on hitch plates (#2) by
lining up the plate’s lower lugs (#9) to the inside of the
Snow Pusher’s outer clevises.
3.
Secure each hitch plate’s lower lugs (#9) to the Snow
Pusher’s outer clevises with an M20x2.5" GR8.8
bolt
(#1) and locknut (#3).
a.
Tighten both M20x2.5" GR8.8 bolts (#1) and
locknuts (#3) to 325 ft-lbs (440 N·m)
of torque
.
4.
Rotate the bolt-on hitch plates (#2) up so the hitch
plate’s upper lugs line up with the welded lugs on top
of the Snow Pusher.
5.
Secure each hitch plate’s upper lugs to the Snow
Pusher’s welded lugs with two sets of 3/8-16 GR5
bolts (#8) and locknuts (#7).
a.
Tighten the 3/8-16 GR5 bolts (#8) and
locknuts (#7) to 31 ft-lbs (42
N·m
) of torque.
NOTE:
To fully understand the assembly procedure
of the two lever hitch adapter option, the hitch
plates (#2) are shown as transparent components in
the illustration above.
