Land Pride’s
“BX Direct Pin Option”
is required when
hooking the grapple directly to the front loader without
“Kubota’s Original Quick Hitch Option”
. See your
nearest Land Pride dealer to order the kit.

Option, BX LOADER DIRECT PIN
Follow steps 3-7 on this page if hooking grapple directly
to the front loader. If hooking grapple to
“Kubota’s
Original Quick Hitch Option”
, see
1.
Unhitch front attachment (i.e. bucket) from Kubota’s
BX front loader. Refer to Kubota Operator’s Manual
for detailed instructions.
2. Store Kubota’s existing lower hitch pins and center
hitch pin with the unhitched front attachment.
3. Check for and remove any debris in the hitch point
areas before hooking-up grapple.
4. Approach grapple driving tractor slowly forward until
loader hitch points are aligned with grapple hitch
points.
5. Place transmission in park, shut tractor engine off,
remove switch key, and dismount tractor.
6. Pin grapple’s lower clevises to the front loader arms
with extended hitch pin option (#1) and secure with
hairpin cotters (#5).
7.
Pin grapple’s upper center clevis to hydraulic cylinder
with existing grapple’s hitch pin (#2). Secure with
existing hex head bolt (#3) and locknut (#4). Draw
locknut up snug, Do not tighten.
8. Connect grapple hose couplers to bulk head mount
couplers. See
page 11 for detailed hook-up instructions.

To avoid serious injury or death:
A crushing hazard exists while hooking-up and unhooking the
attachment. Do not allow anyone to stand between attachment
and power machine while approaching or backing away from
the attachment. Do not operate lift and/or tilt controls while
someone is near the power machine and/or attachment.

To avoid serious injury or death:
Check Kubota BX tractor hitch fit-up frequently to ensure the
attachment will not come loose and fall. The loader cylinder
rod must be pined to the attachment’s center clevis with the
hitch pin and hitch pin secured with the bolt and nut. The
loader arms must be secured to the lower clevises with clevis
pins and clevis pins secured with hairpin cotters.
