Attach Motor Assembly to Hitch Plate

Figure 1-1

Attach Cradle to Optional Hitch Plate

Refer to Figure 1-1:

1. Loosen the top three mounting nuts (#1).
2. Remove lower two mounting nuts (#6), lock washers

(#7), bolts (#12), 1 3/4" wide clamp bar (#11), and

1 1/4" wide bolt bar (#9).

3. With spacer (#2) attached loosely to cradle (#8), rest

spacer (#2) on top of rail (#5). Make sure lip of

bar (#3) is caught behind the rail.

4. Clamp bottom of cradle (#8) to bottom of rail (#10)

with 1/2" x 1 3/4" bolts (#12), 1 3/4" wide bolt bar

(#11), 1 1/4" wide bar (#9), lock washers (#7) and

nuts (#6). Make sure holes in bolt bar (#11) are

located close to the bottom of the bar.

5. Draw nuts up snug, do not tighten at this time.

6. Adjust cradle (#8) horizontally on rail (#5) to the

customer’s desired location.

Tighten 3/8-16 nuts (#1) to the correct torque for a

GR5 bolt.

8. Tighten 1/2"-13 nuts (#6) to the correct torque for a

GR5 bolt.

Locate bolt holes in clamp

bar (#11) close to the bottom

Cradle (#8) can be centered on rail (#5) or

side-shifted to one side for optimal viewing.

Attach Motor Assembly to Existing PFL12 Hitch

Attach Cradle to PFL12 Hitch Frame

Refer to Figure 1-2:

1. Remove pallet forks from the PFL12 hitch plate (#5).

Refer to the PFL12 Operator’s Manual #319-211M for

detailed instructions.

2. Loosen the top three mounting nuts (#1).
3. Remove lower two mounting nuts (#6), lock washers

(#7), bolts (#12), 1 3/4" wide clamp bar (#11), and

1 1/4" wide bolt bar (#9).

4. With spacer (#2) attached loosely to cradle (#8), rest

spacer (#2) on top of rail (#5). Make sure lip of

bar (#3) is caught behind the rail.

5. Clamp bottom of cradle (#8) to bottom of rail (#10)

with 1/2" x 1 3/4" bolts (#12), 1 3/4" wide bolt bar

(#11), 1 1/4" wide bar (#9), lock washers (#7) and

nuts (#6). Make sure holes in bolt bar (#11) are

located close to the bottom of the bar.

6. Draw nuts up snug, do not tighten at this time.

Adjust cradle (#8) horizontally on rail (#5) to the

customer’s desired location.

8. Tighten 3/8-16 nuts (#1) to the correct torque for a

GR5 bolt.

9. Tighten 1/2"-13 nuts (#6) to the correct torque for a

GR5 bolt.

Locate bolt holes in clamp
