Wheel Assembly
Refer to Figure 1-8:
1. Orient transport wheel lock bracket (#4) as shown
and attach to the left side with 1/4"-20 x 3/4" GR5
carriage bolts (#5) and hex nylock nuts (#7). Tighten
nuts to the correct torque.
2. Insert 5/8"-11 x 2 1/2" GR5 cap screw (#6) through
5/8" flat washer (#9), transport arm (#2), pivot
bushing (#3), 5/8" flat washer (#9), and hole in end
panel (#13).
3. Secure cap screw (#6) with hex flange locknut (#8)
and tighten to the correct torque.
4. Orient wheel (#1) with valve stem “A” on the outside
and install wheel onto the transport arm axle shaft.
5. Install two 5/8" flat washers (#9) on the axle shaft.
Secure washers and wheel to the axle shaft with
1/8"x 1" cotter pin (#10). Be sure to bend one or both
legs of cotter pin to keep pin from falling out.
6. Using the handle, push transport arm down until
transport arm is against wheel lock bracket (#4).
7. Insert 1/4" x 1/2" cotterless hitch pin (#11) through
hole in transport arm and lock bracket to keep arm
from rotating.
8. Apply soapy water to transport arm handle and
inside of hand grip (#12). Install hand grip (#12) on
transport arm handle.
9. Repeat steps 1 to 8 for the right side.
10. Grease wheel bearings per Lubrication Points
Instructions on page 17.

Hitch Pin Assembly
Refer to Figure 1-9:
1. Turn Aerator over onto its wheels.
2. Insert hitch pin (#3) through hitch holes in hitch
straps (#1) and secure with hairpin cotter (#2).
