Thank you for purchasing the LANAFORM® brachial blood pressure monitor. This
monitor uses the oscillometric method to measure systolic and diastolic blood
pressure in humans, as well as heart rate. Due to its large LCD display, you can
comfortably read the various values. This device is designed only for use by
adults.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR BRACHIAL BLOOD
PRESSURE MONITOR, SPECIFICALLY THE FUNDAMENTAL SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS:
• When using this product, be sure that you follow all of the points listed below.
Any deviation from them can affect the accuracy of the readings.
• Do not dismantle, repair or alter the monitor.
• Do not expose the monitor to extreme temperatures, high levels of humidity
or direct sunlight.
• Avoid any violent handling and do not drop it. Should it fall, take the device to
your supplier or customer service department.
• Do not wash the entire unit in water or immerse it in water.
• The blood pressure monitor could stop working if you press the start/stop
button during a measurement.
• Do not speak during a measurement, in order to ensure accuracy.
• Erroneous readings could be recorded if users move during measurement.
• Avoid using the blood pressure monitor for a 30-minute period following
exercise, taking a bath, eating a meal or returning from outside.
• In all cases, the measured results are ONLY used as reference. If you want an
official evaluation of these measurements, consult your doctor.
• This device is not designed to be used by people, including children, with
lowered physical, sensory or mental capacities, or by people who lack
experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or given instructions for
use of the device by a person responsible for their safety prior to use. Children
should be supervised so that they do not play with the device.
