Connecting to Power
Note: Insert a microSD memory card before connecting
Black Box Ultra to your car’s lighter socket.
1 Connect the small
end of the cable to
the USB port of the
Black Box Ultra .
2 Connect the other
end of the cable
to the car Charger,
then inserted in
your car’s lighter
socket.
3 After starting your car, Black Box Ultra will automatically
turn on and start loop recording.
4 After the engine is switched off, Black Box Ultra will
automatically save the current recording and power off.
Note: On some cars, the lighter socket continues to provide
power after the engine is switched off. If this happens,
unplug Black Box Ultra when the engine is off or idling to
reduce unnecessary power consumption and prevent any
unexpected problems.
