Installing your cooker hood

You will have to decide before installing your cooker hood whether to use it in extraction mode or

recirculation mode.

We recommend that at least two people

install this hood.

Cut a rectangular aperture in the canopy unit

4 5mm wide and 13mm from the front edge.

(51mm in from each side)

If the extractor is to be ducted out, ensure

that it is possible to connect the ducting hose.

If the extractor is to be used in recirculation

mode, ensure that the canopy allows the

recirculating air to be circulated from the top

of the extractor and canopy into the room.

5.  Remove the grease

 ‘A’ as described

Previously.

6.  Remove the four screws securing the extractor

frame ‘B’ to the extractor body.

7.  Prepare for the flex and vent hose exit from

the canopy housing.

8.  With the help of an assistant introduce the

extractor into the opening cut into the canopy

housing, taking care not to trap the ducting

hose or the mains cable, and secure with the

wood screws provided (pre-pilot holes).

9.

Secure the extractor frame using the four

screws removed earlier from the extractor.

Connecting to external ducting

•

Connect the coupling to the top or the rear of the cooker hood, and then connect a 125 mm ducting

hose to the coupling (please note that the ducting hose is not supplied with the appliance).

•

The other end of the ducting hose should be connected to a discharge outlet that is suitable for

cooking vapours. It should have a cross section of at least 150 cm².

•

The maximum distance between the coupling and your discharge outlet should be 3 metres, with one

90 degree bend

.
