minutes after the accident. A padlock icon will appear on the lower left part of the display. The
locked recording is stored in a special folder and can not be overwritten whilst loop recording.
“Tip” :
A. The name of the folder containing locked recordings begins with the letters ZW, and
the folder containing ordinary recordings begins with the letters AW.
B. G-sensor sensitivity can be set in the Settings menu depending to the current
requirements.
6. File lock function
The device includes a feature which allows a file to be locked at the touch of a button.
In Video mode, pressing Menu locks the recording and prevents it from being overwritten from
10 seconds before pressing the button to an optional 1/2/5 minutes after.
7. Setting the time and date
In standby mode press the Menu button to access the Settings menu. Use the Up/Down keys
to navigate to the ‘Set date and time’ menu and click OK to select it.
Note: The date and time is displayed when recording video. Therefore, before recording,
always make sure you have the date and time set correctly.
8. Mute Function
The mute function can be initialised by pressing the Down button whilst recording. The
microphone icon in the lower left corner will then be crossed out. The mute function does not
affect the image of the recording, it only mutes the audio. Tapping Down again will unmute
the audio.
Note: All settings are automatically saved. After restarting the camera it is not necessary to
perform the sound settings again.
9. Disc mode
Connect the device via the USB cable to the computer. The screen displays three options: Disc,
Camera and Charging. Use the Up and Down buttons to select the Disc option and press OK.
10. Saved recordings
The camera automatically saves the video recordings. To view the stored recordings, press the
Mode button until you are in Playback mode. Use the Up and Down keys to navigate through
the entries. To play the selected recording press OK. To exit Playback mode tap the Mode
button.
11. View from the rear-view camera
First connect the car charger to the camera and connect the red and black wires from the rear-
view camera to the reverse lights. If the camera is installed correctly when the car is in reverse
