The rear-view mirror car camera
Functions
1. Automatic recording
After starting the car engine the car camera automatically starts recording; the camera
charging light will come on. After turning off the car engine, the camera automatically switches
off and stores the recording. The video files are saved on the memory card separately. Once the
memory card is full, the camera will automatically overwrite the oldest unlocked recording.
Note: A. The recording time can be set in the menu at three durations: 1/2/5 minutes.
B. The recordings of the front and rear camera are stored separately in the folders named
DCIM and DCIMB.
C. If Automatic Recording is enabled, once the card is full the recording automatically
stops.
2. Manual recording
If you hold down the power button for 3 seconds, the camera turns on, automatically begins
recording and the LED lights are activated. To turn the camera off, press the power button for
3 seconds. The camera automatically saves the recording and turns off.
3. Camera mode
The device has three modes Photo/Video/Playback. Switch between them In standby mode
by tapping Mode.
4. Motion detection function
In standby mode, press and hold Up. Once the lens senses movement, the camera will start
recording automatically. If the lens does not sense another movement within 5 seconds, the
camera automatically stops recording. If you want to disable the motion detection function
press and hold Up in standby mode.
5. G-sensor
The device is equipped with an impact sensitive sensor called the G-sensor. If an accident
occurs the vehicles sensor records the situation and the camera automatically locks the
recording against being overwritten from 10 seconds before the accident to an optional 1/2/5
8. Start the engine and check that the device is properly installed.
Note: If installed correctly, the status light will be on. Turn on the device and switch to Video
mode. The recording indicator will light up. Make sure that the picture is good. In any
case of problems, please contact our support.
