9. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTIONS
Proper storage conditions reduce the potential dangers and help the garments
to be used safely for longer period.
• This Fireman Suit must be washed and air-dried in order to be clean before storage.
• It shall be stored at dry ventilated places and can’t be stored with corrosive substances.
• It shall be stored without long-time exposure to UV radiation.
• Unopened Fireman Suit can be stored in a cardboard box.
• Unpacked Fireman Suits are recommended for hanging storage.
• For whole box storage, the box shall be placed on pallet to avoid moisture due to long-time
contact with the ground.
• For long-term storage, it shall be noted that regular airing shall be conducted to avoid mold,
fungus moisture and bacteria breeding.
10. REPAIRING INSTRUCTIONS
Once abrasion, tear, burn through, corrosion etc occurred on the Fireman Suit during its use, which
brings about damage to its original structure, please do not use the garment and do not try repair it
on your own.
Immediately inform your firefighting department and supervisor or employer, isolate the relevant
garment and keep it out of use.
11. EXPIRATION DATE
If there is doubt as to whether the suit can continue to be used in the line of duty, consult your
firefighting department or employer who can decide for this.
Life of the garment depends on the way it is used and maintened and can be prolong if the manufacturer
directions are followed.
If user observes ageing to accessory or other parts of the product, then do not use the garment.
