7 - ELECTRIC SYSTEM (ECOVIP)
7.3 Control panel
1) Button to control auxiliary battery voltage (B2).
2) Button to control engine battery voltage (B1).
3) Button to control fresh water and waste water
tank level.
4) On/off main switch. The flashing LED indicates
that the auxiliary battery is run down and all the
appliances will soon be disconnected.
5) Button for pump on and off.
6) Awning light control button, switches automati-
cally off when you start up the engine.
7) The flashing of this LED indicates that the
auxiliary battery (B2) has run down.
8) The flashing of this LED indicates that the engine
battery (B1) has run down.
9) The flashing of this LED indicates that the fresh
water tank is empty.
10) The flashing of this LED indicates that the waste
water tank is full.
11) Indicates 230 V power source connection.
12) Battery voltage and tank level display.
13) Indicates the auxiliary battery charging by means
of the vehicle alternator.
7.4 Batteries
7.4.1
Engine battery
The engine battery is located under the cab floor, on
the left side.
7.4.2 Auxiliary battery
The auxiliary battery, with protection fuse, is installed
under the right cabin seat.
At startup the control panel checks the working
of all LEDs.
NOTE
When turning on the engine the vehicle’s alter-
nator automatically recharges also the auxiliary
battery.

battery. Recharge can also be achieved, always
automatically, through the connection to the 230
V network: the use of this source is recommended
whenever possible.
NOTE
Refer to the producer’s handbook for further
information on the control panel.
NOTE
For maintenance of the engine battery, please
refer to the manual provided by the chassis
manufacturer.
WARNING
Do not leave the appliances turned on for a long
period of time without recharging the battery:
should the voltage reaches 10 V all the appliances
will be automatically disconnected. That occurs in
order to avoid damages to the battery.
