Lubrication (Cont’d.) -
The lubricant in the gear box must be drained and replaced every 2,500 hours. Multi-purpose gear
box lubricant (
#80 Weight Oil ) will be suitable.
To Replace the lubricant (Oil Drain Procedure):
1.) Remove the Lower Gear Box Oil Drain Plug ( See A -Pt. #80) . Drain dirty oil thoroughly.
2.) Re-insert and tighten the Lower Gear Box Oil Drain Plug ( See A -Pt. #80) .
3.) Remove , Upper Oil Fill Plug ( See B -Pt. #80) and fill with 400ml or 13.5 fl. oz. of clean lubricant
( #80 Weight Oil ) through the hole.
4.) Install and tighten Upper Oil Fill Plug ( See B -Pt. #80) .
