Waffle maker
7 – If you think the appliance might be broken, NEVER try to repair it yourself.
8 – Do not use the device in bath tub or shower, above sink, or near any other tank with water
or other liquid.
9 – Never wash the device in running water or in any manner, which allows water to drip onto
the device.
10 – Never put the device connected to mains outlet on wet surface.
11 – Before connecting the device to mains outlet, check whether mains parameters are com -
pliant with the values indicated on rating plate of the device.

II. Before the first use
a) Remove all packaging components
b) Note! Metal parts may be covered with hardly visible protecting film. It MUST be removed
c) Unwind and straighten the power cord
d) Wash all parts that come into contact with food as there may be production residues on it.
f) We recommend to coat the cooktop with a thin layer of oil using a brush, or paper soaked
in oil
Note: There may be a small amount of smoke or odour during the first time you use the
toaster but this is normal since some heating elements might have been covered with
grease. Don’t worry, it will disappear after some time.
