5.6 Replace the Battery

Note:

Use only batteries recommended by Laerdal or one of its authorized

dealers.

4. To insert a battery, push it fully in and then to the

right to lock it.

5. Close the Battery Door.

6. After inserting the battery, place the LSU on

charge unless a fully charged battery is inserted.

There are no user serviceable parts inside the cabinet. Do not open
the cabinet. Refer servicing to personnel qualified by Laerdal, or to
Laerdal or one of its authorized dealers.

6. Servicing

1. Open the Battery Door. 2. To remove the battery,

push and move it slightly to
the left and then release.

3. Withdraw the battery

from the LSU.*
