Access the ashpit by opening the door
on the appliance.
Warning! It is very important to put the
ashpit back in its housing at the bottom of
the firebox after emptying it of ashes and
before lighting the fire again! Do this by
following the extraction process in reverse
order.
Clean the ashes from the primary
register area
This area will require regular cleaning,
to ensure an adequate air-flow and a
correct movement of the primary register.
To access this area, follow the sequence
below for removing pieces:
1 – Using the glove supplied, remove the
ash pan and empty it.
2- Remove the ash pan support
3- Disassembly the fire box (see section
3.8.2)
