1.- Place the unit on a solid base at adequate height, in an adequate area for its use. Make sure
that the location does not allow the unit or its contents to accidentally fall and it is strong enough
to support the weight of the unit.
2.- Do not place anything on top of the ice maker, as it may damage the device or cause
personal injuries
3.- When you install the machine for operation, make sure that it is not connected to the mains
supply. Otherwise, it may cause personal injury.
4.- To avoid damaging the PRO ice maker or personal injury, always start the machine with
content inside.
5.- The unit is not waterproof. For safe and adequate operation, place the unit inside where the
room temperature is at least 21ºC (70ºF) and up to 29ºC (85ºF).
6.- Do not place the PRO ice maker in an area exposed to excessive temperatures or to hotplate
or deep-fryer grease, etc. Excessive temperature can cause damage to the unit.
7.- Do not place the ice maker in an area where the sides of the device do not have ventilation.
Leave a space of at least 15 cm on each side.
8.- During transport, do not incline the PRO ice maker in excess of 45º as there is danger of
harming the compressor and refrigeration circuit
9.- To avoid problems with the cold compressor, do not switch on or off the device until at least
5 minutes have passed between the starting and the switching off.
10.- Before using the ice making machine for the first time, wait 12 hours after its installation and
keep the front lid open for at least 12 hours.
11.- Normally the compressor and the condenser reach temperatures between 70ºC and 90ºC.
The surrounding may get very hot, please, do not touch them.
12.- Due to the fast freezing, the ice-cubes can appear to have a "cloudy" colour. Air is trapped
in the water and will not affect the quality or taste of the ice.
13.- When it is not being used, please open the drawer at least 2 cm to allow air circulation and
avoid rusting of the metallic components.
14.- ONLY fill with bottled or good quality water. (Do not fill with fruit juice or other types of drinks).
15.- Adjust the feet of the ice maker so they have the same height. Otherwise, the water level
sensor may not provide correct measurements.
16.- Make sure that the drainage tube is properly inclined so the water can be removed.
Never place the end of the tube in a position that is higher than the drainage valve
