2) Connect the 9-pin end of the FireWire 800 cable into the FireWire 800
port on the back of the LaCie Biggest F800.
3) Connect either the other end of the 9-pin FireWire 800 cable into
an available FireWire 800 port on your computer, or connect the 6-pin
end of the FireWire 800/400 cable into an available FireWire 400
port on your computer.

Important Info:
The LaCie Biggest F800 ships with both a
FireWire 800 9-to-9-pin cable and a FireWire 800/400 9-
to-6-pin cable. The FireWire 800 9-to-9-pin cable is used
when the host computer has a FireWire 800 port. The
FireWire 800/400 9-to-6-pin cable is used when the host
computer only has a FireWire 400 port.
