To swipe your fi nger correctly:
A) Make sure that the front of
the drive is facing you, and
wait for the top LED to
become orange.
LaCie drives are pre-formatted as FAT 32 volumes and can be used across multiple platforms (Windows
2000/XP, Mac OS 10). For optimum performance, the drive can easily be re-formatted in NTFS for
Windows 2000/XP users or HFS+ for Mac users. FAT 32 limitations: fi le size cannot exceed 4GB, and
Mac special characters cannot be used in fi les names. For more information about formatting, please
refer to the User’s Manual.
B) With your fi nger pressed
fl at on the groove and
fi ngertip touching the top
recess, slowly slide fi nger
toward you.
