9. Decalcification
•
Drinking water varies according to the region. The lime particles
in hard drinking water can block the piping and cause damage. To
prevent this, perform decalcification after making 300 to 400 cups or
if the output falls significantly or regularly after one or two months.
•
Decalcification must be done correctly to prevent damage. So it is
essential to follow these instructions.
NOTE
•
Never clean the machine with vinegar. This causes damage and
creates low quality taste.
•
Damage caused by incorrect decalcification is not covered by the
guarantee.
•
Caution: beware of hot water and steam! Risk of scalding!
•
Recommendations: purchase commercially available decalcifier
according to the manufacturer‘s instructions.

use it following the
instructions and pour
the mixture in the water
tank.
2.
Open the handle “A”
and let the used capsule
fall into the container.
Insert the enclosed
empty cleaning capsule.
3.
Place a large bowl / cup
under the dispensing to
collect the decalcifier
liquid and lime particles.
4.
When the display is
on, press the dispensing
button “B”. Wait until the
dispensing operation is
completed.
5.
Turn off the machine
removing the power
plug from the socket.
Wait five minutes and let
the descaling fluid take
effect. Then plug in again
and repeat points 4 & 5
until the tank is empty.
6.
Rinse the water tank
well and refill with fresh
water to MAXIMUM
level. Place the tank
back inside the machine
and press the button
“B”, it takes about 40
seconds, repeat this until
the water tank is empty.
Repeat this operation
using at least two water
tanks filled with fresh
and clean water.
7.
Take the empty
cleaning capsule out
of the device and keep
it for later rinsing. The
machine is ready to brew
fresh beverages.
