10.1 Introduction
to PMM 9030
The PMM 9030 is a powerful EMI receiver, fully CISPR 16-1-1, which
extends capabilities of PMM 9010 to measure conducted and radiated
interferences from 30 MHz up to 3 GHz. All measurements performed by
the PMM 9030 are according to the most accepted standards like: IEC,
CISPR, EN (EuroNorm), FCC, VDE, ….
The PMM 9030 has been designed adopting an innovative philosophy
made possible only in the recent years by the availability of superior
technology components. This equipment is a combination of digital and
analogue circuitries to realize a true EMI receiver and signal analyzer with
the precision and accuracy of a numeric approach added to the flexibility
and easiness of use of a modern instrument.
The PMM 9030 has been conceived as a “smart extension unit” of the
PMM 9010, to which the PMM 9030 shall be connected via high speed
optic link.
