Calling Line Identification Restriction
(CLIR)
Calling Line Identification Restriction
supplementary service allows a calling subscriber to
enable or disable the presentation of the Calling Line
Identification (CLI) to the called party when making
an outgoing call.
Enabling CLI Restriction in effect instructs the
GSM Network not to send Caller ID information to
the called party. This allows you to make anonymous
calls.
To use this service according to the subscription of
the CLIR service, enter the following sequence:
#* 13 * 0
This is the default setting of CLIR and the behavior
of the CLI presentation will be determined by the
network based on the user subscription settings.
