TO ENSURE THAT YOU GET THE BEST RESULTS FROM YOUR NEW FREEZER/REFRIGERATOR, PLEASE TAKE
TIME TO FOLLOW THESE INITIALS STEPS.
A. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION AND CLEARANCE
We recommended to use a separate electrical circuit serving only this appliance. Do not use an
extension.
•
This appliance is designed to be FREE STANDING ONLY, and should not be recessed or built-in.
Place your unit on a floor that is strong enough to support it when it is fully loaded.
•
Allocate 4 inches (10 cm) of clearance space on each side of the unit, 4 inches (10 cm ) in the
back , and 12 inches (30 cm ) on top to allow the proper air circulation.
•
Locate the appliance away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator,
etc.). Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical
consumption. Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also cause the unit not to perform
properly.
•
Install the unit where the room temperature is between 0°C (32°F) and 43°C (110°F)
•
Avoid locating the unit in moist areas.
•
Plug the unit into a dedicated, properly installed-grounded wall outlet. Do not under
any circumstances cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. Any
questions concerning power and/or grounding should be directed toward a certified
electrician or an authorized Service Center.
•
Do not plug in this unit using an electric cord extension or adaptor.
