inserted in the STE.

Card inserted in the STE.

BACK if all SDNS key sets have been reviewed and STU-III key does not need to be
reviewed.
6-4. ZEROIZE KEY
When card privileges are enabled, you may access the ZEROIZE KEY menu ( Figure 6-50 ) to remove
specific keys from the STE/Crypto Card. If card privileges are not enabled this menu will not be
presented to you.
NOTE
You can only zeroize a User Card that is associated with a specific STE: an
unassociated card cannot be zeroized by any unassociated STE.
1. The ZEROIZE KEY menu ( Figure 6-50 ) is accessed from the VIEW CARD KEY DATA menu by
pressing SCROLL if card privileges are enabled, or if the STE is in idle condition by pressing
MENU , SCROLL , SELECT , USER , SCROLL , and SCROLL .
