Things to Check and Setup Before Use

Tap
Lightly touch an icon, menu item, etc.
with your finger, and release quickly.

Double-tap
Quickly tap twice in the same location.

Touch and hold
Touch an icon, menu item, etc. with
your finger for an extended time.

Swipe (flick)
Touch the screen and move your
finger up/down/left/right as if sweeping
something aside.

Drag
Trace your finger across the screen
until reaching your desired position,
then release.
■
Scroll
When a screen’s contents are not all
displayed, move the contents up/
down/left/right to move the display
position.
■
Spread/pinch with 2 fingers
Touch the screen with 2 fingers, and
widen the space between your fingers
to enlarge the display, or close the
space to shrink the display.
The Home screen is configured across
multiple parts. Swipe right and left to
switch parts.

Status Bar
The left side of the status bar displays missed
calls, new e-mails, and other notification icons,
while the right side displays the product’s
current conditions as status icons.

Google Search widget
You can enter characters into the search box
to search for information on the product or by
using the Internet.
