4. Y Connector Adapter ‐ Part # AT8405A
1. To use both the Headset and Foot Pedal with the
AdvanceCommunicator™ simultaneously, use the Y connector
adapter Part # 8504A supplied with the Foot Pedal..
2. Unplug the privacy handset supplied with the unit (and
remove it from its cradle) and plug the RJ45 connector of the Y
Adapter Cable into the corresponding RJ45 receptacle on back
of the AdvanceCommunicator™
3. Plug the Headset and Foot Pedal into the corresponding RJ45
receptacles of the Y Adapter Connector.
! NOTE : If neither the headset nor Foot Pedal work, swap
around the plugs into the Y Adapter Connector.
4. Once connected, the Headset and Foot Pedal will function as
set out above.
