Web and Data

Install Security Certificates

Download and install the certificates needed to access your local network into a
microSD card. Your network administrator can tell you how to do this.

Insert the microSD card into your phone. See

Add a VPN Connection

From the Home screen, press

If you are asked to set up a screen lock, press

(left softkey) and set up a

required type of lock.

Select

Add VPN profile

and enter the information for the VPN you want to add.



Information may include Name, Type, Server address, PPP encryption (MPPE),
and advanced options.



Set up all options according to the security details you have obtained from your
network administrator.

Press

Save

(left softkey). The VPN is then added to the VPNs section of the VPN

settings screen.

Connect to or Disconnect from a VPN

Connect to a VPN

From the Home screen, press

VPN

In the VPNs section, highlight the VPN you want to connect to, and press

When prompted, enter your login credentials and then press

Connect

(left softkey).

When you are connected, a VPN connected icon appears in the status bar.

Open the Web browser to access resources such as intranet sites on your corporate
network.
