Setting Your Phone’s Security
y using the security setting on your Sprint PCS
®
Phone, you receive
peace of mind without sacrificing flexibility. With several options
available, you can customize your phone to meet your personal needs.
Accessing the Security Menu
You must enter your 4-digit lock code to view the Security menu.
To access the Security menu:
1.
Select
Menu
→
Settings
→
Security.
2.
Enter your 4-digit lock code.
Tip:
If you can’t recall your lock code, try using the last four digits of either
your Social Security number or Sprint PCS Phone Number or try 0000. If
none of these work, call Sprint PCS Customer Service Solutions at
1-888-211-4PCS (4727).
Locking Your Phone
When your phone is locked, you can only receive incoming calls or make
calls to 911, Sprint PCS Customer Service Solutions or special numbers.
To lock your phone:
1.
Select
Menu
→
Settings
→
Security
.
2.
Enter your 4-digit lock code.
3.
Select
Lock Phone
.
4.
Highlight
Never, On Power Up,
or
Now
and press .
Unlocking Your Phone
When your phone is locked, the
Unlock
option is displayed on the screen
when in Standby mode.
To unlock your phone:
1.
Press to
Unlock
.
2.
Enter your 4-digit lock code. You return to Standby mode.
