Security combination lock
Your Sento scooter is equipped with a security feature that can be
used to “lockout” the ignition to reduce the risk of theft.

A three digit combination code is supplied with the scooter stamped
into an aluminum fob

NOTE: This unique combination code is not stamped on the
scooter and is not recorded in the vehicle's basic documen-
tation for security reasons. Record this important code in the
boxes provided on the inside, rear cover of this Owner's
Manual.
1. Rotate each dial

to the security combination code.
2. If the combination code is correct, the engine will start.
3. If the combination code is incorrect, the engine will not start.
To “unlock” the security feature:

NOTE: When the seat is opened, the security combination
lock dials

will illuminate for approximately thirty seconds.
Input the code (using the procedure listed below) within that
time to “unlock” the ignition. If the lock lamps go out before
you rotate the dials to the security code, press the access
button

to reset the code entry system
NOTE: Leaving the security combination lock dials

at the
combination code position will keep the system “unlocked”.
Record the security combination code in this manual. If
you fail to document the code, only your KYMCO au-
thorized dealer will be able to replace the security de-
vice (it cannot be reprogrammed).
Replacement of the security combination lock because
of a lost code is not a warranty defect and will be per-
formed at the expense of the scooter’s owner.
