Edge Cutting Section Lubrication

Make sure that

Lockout/Tagout

has been performed before maintenance. For lubrication sched-

ule information,

see “Lubrication Schedule” on page 3-14.

Rail bearings in the Edge Cutting section are highlighted in the Figure below.

The Carriage assembly is divided into layers. Find the X, Y and Z bearings. Identify zerk fittings
and apply EP-2 grease. Use an extender to reach tight areas.
