2.16 Rear wheel extension assembly and adjustment
Unscrew bolts
from both sides and remove axle clamp
with axle.
Remove bolts
and
, dismantle axle clamp.
Attach the axle clamp
with bolts
to the required hole in the rear wheel
extension
.
The correct clamp must be used if a Vario-Ax is being mounted.
Slide both rear wheel extensions onto the axle. Mount rear wheel extensions with
bolts
to wheelchair.
Adjust rear wheel parallelism. (
chapter 2.17)
Tighten bolt
to attach axle.
2.17 Rear wheel camber adjustment
Assembly standard axle
A new axle has to be attached when adjusting the rear wheel camber.
Remove bolts
and fold down the lower part of the axle clamp
on both sides.
Replace axle
with new axle having the correct camber.
Fold up the lower part of the axle clamp
and insert bolt
on both sides.
Adjust rear wheel parallelism. (
chapter 2.18)
Tighten bolts
firmly.
