Your appliance at a glance

Using the hood

Please observe the safety instructions on page 13

Before using your appliance for the first time 

Please clean the cooker hood before using it for the first time as described
in “Cleaning, care and maintainance”.

Switching the lighting On / Off

–

Switch the two halogen lamps on
with the top button independent
of the motor.

–

Switch the lighting off again by
pressing this button again.

Switching on the ventilation

–

Press the button beside the venti-
lation setting you want in order to
switch the hood on.
0 – 1 = mild  
     2 = medium
     3 = strong    
     4 = very strong

Changing the ventilation setting

–

You can change the ventilation set-
ting you have selected whenever
you want by pressing a different
ventilation setting button.

Switching the ventilation off

–

Select ventilation setting 1 by pres-
sing key 0-1.

–

Press key 0-1 again to switch the
cooker hood off.

Switching on the delayed stop time

Using the timer, a time relay can be activated which automatically switches
off the hood in the settings 2 to 4 after 10 minutes.

–

After switching the hood on, press
the respective setting button a se-
cond time. With the timer activa-
ted, the control light of the setting
selected flashes.

Press the button 0–1 to switch off the hood before the time lapses.  

Cleaning interval for the fat filters 

After about 30 hours of operation all the control lights flash at the same
time to remind you that the fat filters have to be cleaned.

Press one of the  three bottom
buttons to switch the control lights
off. The operating hour counter is
reset to 0.

Switch the hood off.

–

Clean the fat filters(see section
“Cleaning the metal fat filters”).

Never operate the hood without the metal fat filters being inserted! 

Important!

 If you use the hood in recirculation mode, you must also renew

the two activated charcoal  filters roughly every 6 months. There is no sepa-
rate display for renewing the activated charcoal filters. You can obtain origi-
nal filters from your dealer or direct from KÜPPPERSBUSCH.
