Clean the mesh, the support bracket and the filter in a dishwasher. Rinse
and dry well before installation.

Secure the filter with the support bracket to the mesh.

Install the mesh again and screw tight.

Then switch on the motor and press the “Reset” button to reset the wor-
king hour counter for the fat filter to 0.
Changing the activated charcoal filters
(for recirculation mode)
An activated charcoal filter absorbs odorous substances until saturation. It
cannot be cleaned or regenerated and has to be replaced after 200 hours
of operation or at the latest after 6 months with a new original replacement
filter.

Remove the mesh with the metal fat filter and clean both (see “Cleaning
the fat filter”).

Undo the catches and remove the
used activated charcoal filters.

Insert two new activated charcoal
filters and secure.

Install the fat filter and mesh again and screw tight.

After changing the filters, switch the motor on and press the “Reset” button
to reset the working hour counter for the activated charcoal filters to 0.
Replacing a halogen lamp
Caution! Only replace defective halogen lamps with
lamps of the same type.

Unscrew the mesh under the
fume trap and remove.

Pull the spotlight down out of the
socket.
–
Insert a new spotlight (20 Watt) into the socket with slight pressure and
mount the mesh again.
What to do in case of trouble
Repairs should only be carried out by an authorised
technician.
Before carrying out any repair work, the appliance must be
disconnected from the power supply by pulling out the
mains plug or switching off the household fuse.
First check whether there has been any case of maloperation. You can deal
with some problems that occur yourself.

The rating label will become visible when you have removed the fat filter or
the activated charcoal filter. In case you have to consult Customer Service,
