4.6 Operating the keys
The controls described here expect the pressing of a (selecti-
on) key to be followed by the pressing of a subsequent key.
The next key will need to be pressed within 10 seconds,
otherwise the selection will be deleted.
4.7 Switching on the hob and cooking zones
1. Press the ON/OFF key (approx. 1 sec.) until the power
setting 0 appears and a short signal will sound. The cont-
rols are ready for operation.
2. Then press the cooking zone selection key for front right
in order to select a cooking zone.
3. Then immediately set the cooking level on the sensor fi eld
.
4. Put a cooking pot onto the cooking zone.
Repeat items 2 to 4 in order to cook on other cooking zones
at the same time.
4.8 Switching off a cooking zone
5. A cooking zone must be selected. To do so, press the
respective cooking zone selection key .
6. a) Press the sensor fi eld on the far left or
b) drag your fi nger you have placed on the sensor fi eld
to the left to reduce the power setting to 0
c) press the ON/OFF key . The entire hob will be swit-
ched off (all the cooking zones are switched off ).
4.9 Switching off the hob
7. Press the ON/OFF key . The hob will be completely
switched off , irrespective of any settings.
4.10 Multi-circuit operation
1. Cookware is placed on a cooking zone and a power level
(e.g. 3) is selected.
A cooking zone must be selected. To do so, press the
respective cooking zone selection key
.
2. Press the circuit activation key . The outer heating cir-
cuit will be activated. The control lamp lights up.
3. For activating other heating circuits press the circuit
activation key .
Notes
• Manually activated heating circuits will automatically be
deselected when the cooking zone is switched off .
