Automatic switch-off (timer)
The automatic switch-off device is used to automatically switch off any cook-
ing zone after a stipulated period of time. Cooking times ranging from
1 minute to 99 minutes can be set.
1. Switch on the hob. Switch on one or more cooking zones and set the
required power settings.
2. Press the
timer key
once or several times until the control lamp for
the selected cooking zone blinks below the symbol
.
3. Touch the
Plus-Minus key
of the timer.
The pre-selector stage will trigger direct activation:
..... Left ............................... 1 minute
..... Centre........................... 30 minutes
..... Right ............................. 60 minutes
The timer display will show the time selected until switch-off.
When the time has been taken over and is running, the control lamp
under the
symbol will light up.
4. In order to program the automatic-switch-off device for another cooking
zone, press the
timer key
repeatedly until the timer indicator lamp for
the required cooking zone blinks under the
symbol.
5. The cooking zone will be switched off when the time has lapsed. A signal
will sound for a while and can be switched off by pressing any key (except
for the ON/OFF key).
Notes
• In order to check the time that has lapsed (automatic-switch-off device)
press the
timer key
repeatedly until the timer indicator lamp for the
selected cooking zone blinks under the
symbol. The setting displayed
can be read and changed.
• Terminating the function of the timer: Select the respective cooking zone
and press the
Plus-Minus key
of the timer simultaneously on the
left and the right.
• If several timers have been programmed, the timer display will show the
cooking zone with the shortest time.
Minute minder (egg timer)
1. Switch on the hob.
2. Press the
timer key
once or several times until the control lamp in
the
symbol blinks.
3. Touch the
Plus-Minus key
of the timer
to set the time.
4. Once the time has lapsed a signal will sound for a while and can be
switched off by pressing any key (except for the ON/OFF key).
Note:
• The minute minder remains in operation when the glass ceramic hob is
switched off.
