Disc mower

GMD702F

3. Machine use

Before the machine engages the crop:

- Engage the tractor PTO and slowly increase the

speed up to 540 min

-1

or 1000 min

-1

(depending upon

specification).

When mowing on slopes and/or in combination with a

self loading harvester, we recommend to reduce the pto
speed by a 1/3.

This allows better crop rearward ejection and avoids the

self loading harvester to over-rev.



Drive speed

Before mowing and to reduce risks of
projections, lower side guards and front
hood.

Fit rear cover tensioners to swath shield
screws.

Keep all persons and animals away from the
machine danger zone.

Never lean or step on the guards.

Never work in reverse.

Adapt the forward speed to the working
conditions.
