WORK POSITION - ADJUSTMENTS
When the GA 3501 S is in work position, stand (D) must always be raised to a horizontal position (photo 22) and
safety guards must be locked at (A) in an open position (photo 23) using spring cotter (U) (see photo 7, page 12).
During operation, the tractor 3-point hydraulic linkage
must be in the free floating position. Raking height of
the GA 3501 S is correct when the tines lightly sweep
the ground. In this position, the rotor should be horizon-
tal to the ground.
Raking height adjustment (fig. 24)
- Raise machine to clear caster wheels from ground.
- Fold crank (M) down.
- Rotate crank to adjust wheels to the desired height.
- Fold crank (M) back in its original position.
- Lower machine to the ground.
Adjustment of tractor top link length
Length is set approximately when attaching the top link of a machine which is resting on its parking stand to the
tractor.
Exact top link length is adjusted by noting position of indicator (O) located in front of the horizontal rotor pivot axis
(photo 25 and 26). This adjustment is to be made with machine in working position, on flat ground.
Adjust tractor top link length until indicator (O) is exactly centered in its aperture (photo 25).
